Field Trips at Cannon Farms
Into the field we go!
Here at Cannon Farms we love teaching where your food comes from. We will hop on the hayride and take a guided tour through our fields, where we will talk about the different crops we grow here and if the timing is right we will even pick and eat some of those crops straight out of the field!
Petting Zoo
We will be entering the petting zoo if you wish where you will learn about the different breeds of animals we have here on the farm and what purpose they serve. If you don't want to get up close and personal with the animals you can join in on the knowledge from outside the petting zoo.

Dates & Days
Field trips run Wednesdays & Thursdays only, September 24 – October 29, 2025.
Available dates in this window: Sept 24–25; Oct 1–2, 8–9, 15–16, 22–23, 29.
What to Expect
• Start with a guided hayride where we talk about our crops and answer questions.
• We may split into groups; hayride capacity is ~15–20 riders per trip.
• After the tour, enjoy the maze, playground, and picnic area.
Lunch Options
• Bring your own lunch and use our picnic areas or
• Pre‑order our Hot Dog Meal: hot dog, chips, cookie, and a drink — $8 per person.
(All meals are pre‑ordered so we know how many to prepare.)
Know Before You Go
• Wear closed‑toe shoes.
• We recommend a hat and sunscreen—we’ll be out in the field.
